Calgary, September 8, 2020 – “Today, the Calgary Chamber released the finalists for Calgary’s Resilient Business Awards, which will celebrate the businesses who have led with heart, demonstrated resiliency and grit, and been community leaders in this time of unprecedented change.
The winners will be announced on September 24 at the Awards Gala, which will be held in person for a small group of finalists and livestreamed to the public.
“Our business community has faced unparalleled disruption and uncertainty through COVID-19,” says Murray Sigler, interim CEO of the Calgary Chamber. “We have heard powerful stories of resilience, and look forward to celebrating Calgary’s entrepreneurial spirit and to recognize the impact COVID-19 has had on our city.”
The finalists for Calgary’s Resilient Business Awards are:
Resilient Business Award: Micro-business
RBC Resilient Business Award: Small and medium business
Resilient Business Award: Corporate enterprise
ATB Community Impact Award
Manulife Resilient Business Leader Award

The Awards are one of two major events the Calgary Chamber will be hosting this fall to celebrate and support business. Small Business Week will be a fully virtual experience designed to engage and inspire, and it is scheduled to take place the week of October 19.
