Calgary, August 25, 2020 – The Calgary Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate and wish the Honourable Doug Schweitzer, the Honourable Kaycee Madu, and the Honourable Tracy Allard every success as they take on their new ministerial roles.

With the Honourable Kaycee Madu, Minister of Justice and Solicitor General, we stand ready to work together to deliver certainty for business in Alberta as we work through the recommendations of the Fair Deal Panel’s report.
With the Honourable Tracy Allard, Minister of Municipal Affairs, we look forward to re-imagining the municipal-provincial relationship to ensure success and sustainability for our municipalities, including the exploration of an overhaul of the property tax assessment system.
