Business Preparedness and COVID-19

The global situation of the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19, is changing rapidly. While managing the public health risk for infectious diseases is within the mandate of Alberta Health Services, the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, in its role as an emergency partner to the Calgary Emergency Management Agency (CEMA), stands ready to provide updates and resources to Calgary’s business community.

According to Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer, there is currently one probable case of COVID-19, in the Calgary area. However, the current risk for Albertans is still considered low.
