The Calgary Chamber of Commerce is offering both members and non-members the opportunity to enroll in skill-building training in mindfulness, laying the foundation to support a psychologically safe workplace where everyone can lead their best lives at work and at home.

Facilitated by Mindfulicity, the mindfulness training consists of ten micro-learning modules, offering skills and strategies that can be used every day, including:

• Accepting reality
• Being psychological safety savvy
• Building healthy boundaries
• Communicating through conflict
• Coping with uncertainty
• Knowing balanced approaches
• Learning to listen
• Managing microaggressions
• Surfing the urge
• Understanding the importance of Empathy

At the end of the program, participants of the mindfulness training will be able to:

Reduce conflict and stress | Gain critical skills to positively manage interpersonal communication

Strengthen relationships | Modules focused on promoting personal accountability and better relationships with team members

Improve psychological safety | Lay the groundwork for creating environments that foster open communication, empathy, and trust

Impact wellness at work and at home | Foundational skills that are effective in improving overall wellbeing in all areas of life
