The Local YYC Passport contest is back! Join us to celebrate Calgary’s best of the best small businesses! Take the opportunity to meet your favorite local shops, network with fellow business leaders and owners and honour our city's diverse small business community.

Ahead of Small Business Week, the Calgary Chamber invites you to experience the vibrant local small businesses in every corner of our city through the Local YYC Passport contest. This scavenger hunt-based competition is the perfect way for Calgarians to not only explore our city’s unique small businesses, but have the chance to win some exciting prizes!

How to participate

1. Click here to view a map featuring participating local businesses. These businesses are open to the public and will be expecting visitors participating in our citywide event. 
2. Take a clear photo of yourself visiting these businesses and post it to Twitter/X, Instagram or Linkedin using the hashtag #LocalYYC2024.  
3. Visit three or more businesses and post on social for each visit to be entered into a draw for some fabulous prizes!  

Enter by September 22 for a chance to win an all-inclusive pass to Small Business Week! All participants will be entered to win a special prize when the contest closes at 11:59 PM on Sunday, October 27. Winners will be announced on Instagram, Twitter/X and Linkedin and contacted via their participating social media handle.
